  • As Vice-President of the Mobile Campus, my primary responsibility is to represent our students and help promote and improve the Harrison School of Pharmacy

 August 2015 – May 2016 - P2 Class Justice (Alternate)

  • As one of two Class Justices on the Mobile Campus, our duty is to provide our peers with a platform to voice questions, comments and concerns to faculty, administration, colleagues and the student council body.

 October 2014 – Present - PAWS Wellness Clinic Committee

  • President (2015 – 2016), Board of Trustees

  • Founding member of a special Student Government Committee responsible for integrating the pharmacy discipline with the Univ. of South Alabama’s Student-Run Free Clinic alongside medical, physician assistant, nursing, social work and occupational therapy students.

  • 7th & 8th of February 2015 – Society of Student-Run Free Clinics in Atlanta, GA. Sessions attended provided insight on targeting acute care, homeless populations, fundraising, and inspiring volunteers and support.

 Volunteer Experience

​

 January 2015 – Present - University of South Alabama Student-Run Free Clinic

  • Operates from 8am-12pm on Saturdays

  • As a volunteer, I work in an interdisciplinary environment to provide the Mobile area homeless population with medical advice and information.

  • Since pharmacy has been incorporated (Spring 2015), over seventy hours have been spent on Saturdays at the clinic.

 18th November 2014 - Dayspring Baptist Church Food Packing Event

  • As part as the Auburn PAWS Committee and Phi Delta Chi, we helped pack hundreds of food bags to distribute to many families in need in the Mobile area.

  • Responsibilities included dose packing for long-term care residents, inventory management, shipment preparation, prescription intake and corresponding with nurses and physicians regarding medication orders.

  • Primary duties included customer care and service, inputting prescriptions, submitting insurance claims, resolving rejections with insurance representatives, filling prescriptions and managing inventory.
